MEET OUR NEW MEMBER EDUCATORS & OUR VP OF PRIMARY RECRUITMENT

(you’ll want to get to know them!)

LETTER FROM OUR NEW MEMBER EDUCATORS

Hi! Our names are Carson Pruit and Margaret Gallagher, and we am so excited to have the opportunity to serve as Alpha Delta Pi’s Directors of New Member Experience. This chapter means so much to us and we are honored to be able to work alongside just a few of the women that make this place so special.
Our role is a very important one because we get to ensure all of our new members feel loved as they transition into this amazing chapter and college life in general. It is our duty to ensure all of our new members feel excited, heard, and eager to dive into what ADPi has to offer.
Going from high school to college can be very intimidating, but the great news is that everyone feels the exact same! Everyone is here to make friends, find themselves, and learn what they thrive at. You will quickly find that UT does an amazing job of making such a large campus feel like home, and Greek life makes that even easier. This is a community meant to guide and push you to be the best version of yourself. We chose Alpha Delta Pi because we wanted to be around a diverse group of girls that are hilarious, authentic, empathetic, and uplifting. There is truly nothing like the girls that make up this chapter and we are so lucky to call them our best friends.
We will be the ones at the end of the day holding your hand and guiding you through the craziness that is your freshman year of college. It is seriously the most exciting and vulnerable time and we cannot wait to be the ones for Alpha class ‘22 to lean on. Together we will navigate new friendships, classes, and whatever else may be thrown into the mix. We can't wait to watch ADPi quickly become your home whilst you make some of the most rewarding lifelong friendships and memories.
Alpha class ‘22, we are on the edge of our seats to meet you all!! Recruitment can be stressful and scary, but just have fun with it! Don't take yourself too seriously and know that everything will work out just like it's supposed to (breathe!). We cannot wait to meet each and every one of you and show you the unconditional love that is ADPi.

Best,
Carson & Margaret

LETTER FROM OUR VP OF RECRUITMENT

Dear Potential New Members,

Hi, y'all! My name is Addie Bonner, and I cannot wait to serve as Alpha Kappa's Director of Primary Recruitment this year. Alpha Delta Pi holds a very special place in my heart that I am proud to share with each one of you! This chapter is made up of women who care for one another and always have each other's best interests at heart. These women make me feel confident, loved, and special every single day. I look forward to watching you experience the same comfort I felt while going through this process.

Coming into college I felt anxious yet excited at the same time. Many of you are feeling similar emotions, which is completely normal. I was in the same position as you, not knowing what to expect for recruitment, let alone college in general. Leaving high school, I was unsure of how I would be able to adapt to such new changes. Alpha Delta Pi immediately made me feel comfortable and accepted the moment I walked into the house. I felt at home. To this day, that feeling remains true. Our chapter is made up of some of the most inspiring and unique women that have the gift of creating a supportive environment.

My best advice to you is to take a deep breath. These times can be stressful, but in the end it is all worth it. Know that there are women in all 13 chapters that have your back through and after the recruitment process. Get ready for the best four years of your life here at The University of Tennessee and Go Vols!!!

With love,

Addie
