The Pi Palace — What it is like having 49 roommates

Sophomore, Charlotte Beihl AC ‘23, shares her experience living in the ADPi house this past year.

ADPi House Girls 2024-2025

Sisterhood is one of our core values here in ADPi, and living in the house with 50 other girls is the epitome of just that. There is constant chatter, laughter, support, and of course, chaos. You’re signing up for study sessions, movie nights, meals, and so much more—all with your sisters. Seriously, what could be better than that? Our house, that is so lovingly coined the Pi Palace, has reaffirmed every idea I had about joining this sisterhood. I could truly talk about it all day, but why would I when there are 49 others that could do it for me! With that being said, here are a few things my roommates had to say about their experience living in:

“My favorite part about living in the house is sitting in your friend’s room all night laughing and talking about literally everything under the sun!” - Quinn Simcox

“Living in the house this year has truly been the most amazing experience! The memories I have made in this house of 49 of my best friends will be cherished forever. Between getting ready for events, eating dinner, and even studying, we all do it together. The Pi Palace will forever be home away from home for me.” - Marissa Elam

“My favorite thing about living in the house is being able to grow closer with more girls in our AC!! I’ve gotten to know so many more girls and have had the best memories living in the house with them.” - Kate Surratt

“My favorite thing about living in the house is always being surrounded by the girls I love. No matter what I always am supported and encouraged by all 49 roommates every day and I love being able to live with them” - Lydia Wood

“Living in the house has given me such a sense of community! Waking up to so many friendly faces everyday make me so excited and grateful to have the opportunity to live in the house. Now ADPi has given me my best friends, and I got to live with them! My favorite thing about living in the house is getting together with the girls in the movie room and sitting outside on the back deck doing homework together! Life is so much more fun doing daily chores and activities with your best friends” - Mackenzie Pittman

I never in a million years thought that one day I’d live with this many girls whom I love so much. These past two semesters have been so much fun, and I owe that all to these girls and these walls!

With love,

Charlotte Beihl, AC ‘23
