MEET OUR NEW MEMBER EDUCATORS & OUR VP OF PRIMARY RECRUITMENT

(you’ll want to get to know them!)

LETTER FROM OUR NEW MEMBER EDUCATORS

Hi! Our names are Aubrey Allender and Anna Claire Meegan, and we are so excited to have the opportunity to serve as Alpha Kappa’s Directors of New Member Education this year. This chapter means so much to us, and we can not wait to share the things that make it so special!

Our role is so important because we have the privilege of watching over and guiding our new members as they transition into Alpha Delta Pi and into college life as a whole. It is our duty to ensure that all new members not only feel comfortable in this new environment, but also feel valued, encouraged, and loved. We will be the ones, alongside all of the other women in this chapter, leading you through the crazy, but unforgettable, experience that is your freshman year of college. We will be there to hold your hand every step of the way!

We chose Alpha Delta Pi because of the genuine and intentional women that make up this chapter, and we couldn't imagine calling anyone else our sisters and best friends. The friendships we have made are ones that we know will last a lifetime. College would not be the same without them, and they have truly made Knoxville a home away from home. We can’t wait for you all to join us and feel that same love, support and sisterhood.

Alpha Class ‘26, we could not be more excited to meet you all! We know that recruitment can be intimidating and stressful, but always remember to just be yourself and enjoy the process. Everything will work out how it is supposed to. We cannot wait to meet each and every one of you and welcome you into the sisterhood of Alpha Delta Pi!

With love,

Aubrey & Anna Claire

LETTER FROM OUR VP OF RECRUITMENT

Dear Potential New Members,

My name is Jenna Drobny, and I am beyond grateful to serve as Alpha Kappa’s Director of Primary Recruitment this year. Alpha Kappa holds such a special place in my heart. It has given me a space to push myself as a leader, to learn about the importance of service and sisterhood, and to truly grow into the woman I want to become.

Our chapter is made up of incredible women who excel both inside and outside the classroom through leadership roles, campus involvement, and service throughout Knoxville. They inspire me daily to become the best version of myself. They are kind, loyal, driven, genuine, and endlessly supportive. Every time I wear ADPi’s letters, I am reminded that I am part of something so much bigger than myself,  a home that has shaped me in the most meaningful ways.

Starting college is such an exciting season filled with new friendships, new opportunities, and amazing experiences. At the same time, leaving home and stepping into the unknown can feel overwhelming. Recruitment is a beautiful place to begin this new chapter. It gives you the opportunity to meet incredible women and discover a community where you can truly see yourself growing and thriving over the next four years. While the process may feel intimidating at times, I promise it all falls into place exactly as it should. We are so fortunate to have such strong chapters here at University of Tennessee, and I cannot wait to help you find your home within our Panhellenic community.

My biggest piece of advice is to stay true to yourself and hold tight to your values. Recruitment is about finding the place that will support you, challenge you, and help you leave college better than you entered. I found that home in ADPi, and it has only continued to exceed every expectation. Trust the process, embrace every conversation, and remember that every chapter is cheering you on and hoping the very best for you.

Get ready for the best four years of your life here at the University of Tennessee and Go Vols!

With love,

Jenna
