Philanthropy is very important to us as a chapter. We personally represent the Ronald McDonald House which we are so blessed to have on campus. By being able to have an RMH on campus, it gives us the opportunity to be as hands on as possible. We serve as a chapter weekly whether it is cleaning or dropping off gifts for the kids. Last year, Alpha Delta Pi contributed nationally $1,335,355.19 to charitable organizations, including $1,192,640.52 to Ronald McDonald House Charities. For more information check out this link. Our Philanthropy Chair is Kenzi Stovall, who is dedicated to serving our community and chapter. This past year we raised $13,400 for the Ronald McDonald House. We do various events such as hosting an annual tailgate during football season, and an annual basketball tournament. To learn more about these events check out this section. We not only serve our philanthropy but also stay involved campus-wide by contributing to other sorority’s and fraternities philanthropies at the University of Tennessee. These include pancake breakfasts, tailgates, week long competitions (check out Greek Philanthropy Events) and much more. Philanthropy events are an excellent way to grow closer to other Greek chapters around campus. Our goal for the upcoming year is striving to get every girl involved in at least two philanthropy events outside of our chapter and at least three times within RMH charities.
